The goal of IMPACT Sundays is to equip students for godly living now and prepare them to continue to follow Jesus into the future. On Sunday mornings at 9:30 we meet as God’s people to encourage each other to "grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ." This is a time of prayer, music, small group discussion, and practical application of God’s Word.
Middle School (6th - 8th Grade)
For the next few months we will be slowly walking through the letter Paul writes to the church at Philippi. Paul is overflowing with joy and thanksgiving, even during difficult circumstances. His letter highlights fundamental disciplines for the Christian life.
High School (9th -12th Grade)
Through February and March, Pastors Josh and John will be teaching through the book of 1 Thessalonians. In this encouraging letter, Paul writes back to a church he planted but had to leave in a hurry (see Acts 17). Paul was concerned about the Christians in Thessalonica as they faced opposition in their city, but he was encouraged to hear of their faithfulness. Throughout this study, we will be reminded that our identity is not simply based on where we live or what we do, but rather "in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." We will be called to imitate our Lord and his people and, in turn, to be an example to others. We will be challenged in our evangelism and service and comforted by our great hope. These are a handful of the themes we will encounter as we work through 1 Thessalonians.
